Getting stuck isn't automatically failure — sometimes it's where the most important learning begins. Try. Question. Make a move. Realize it didn't work. Adjust. Explain why. Try again. And eventually: "I figured it out."

That moment matters, because confidence isn't something we want students simply to be told they have. We want them to build evidence for it.

Our students are growing up with extraordinary tools. They should know how to use them. But a powerful tool should extend a learner's thinking — not replace their belief that they can think.

Can they begin when nobody gives them the first move?

Can they defend their own reasoning?
Can they stay with difficulty long enough to make progress?

The future doesn't just need students who can access answers. It needs people who know what to do with them.
